The Financial Technology Report is pleased to announce The Top 25 RegTech Executives of 2021. As entrepreneurs and executives, these exceptional leaders were selected from a vast pool of nominees for their ability to provide some of the most advanced solutions on the market while guiding and scaling their organizations. They have employed sophisticated technology inclusive of AI, machine learning, big data, and cloud computing to effectively combat data breaches, cyberattacks, money laundering, and other fraudulent activities.

The regulatory technology sector continues to grow in significance given the now widespread use of digital financial services. As the business community shifts in concert to the cloud, governments and regulatory bodies have increased scrutiny over how financial institutions are safeguarding their operations and protecting the customers they serve. The companies represented on this year’s awards list are helping to lead key segments of the financial services industry towards greater security and in turn enabling the further advancement of financial technology as a whole both domestically and globally.

1. Craig Costigan

Title: Chief Executive Officer

Craig Costigan is the Chief Executive Officer of NICE Actimize. Founded in 1999, NICE Actimize is the largest and broadest provider of financial crime, risk, and compliance solutions for regional and global financial institutions, as well as government regulators. Consistently ranked as number one in the space, NICE Actimize experts count over 100 of the world’s top global financial institutions and regulatory bodies as clients. The company provides real-time, cross-channel fraud prevention, anti-money laundering detection, and trading surveillance solutions. In his role, Costigan is responsible for the division’s market strategy and vision and leads all facets of the organization. He is passionate about new growth and developing innovative strategies for the company’s clients and aims to help them address their most important regulatory compliance challenges.

Before NICE Actimize, Costigan spent eight years at FIS working as president of several sectors of the company, including Capital Markets & Credit (CMC), a $1.1B segment, where he oversaw risk, compliance, credit, security finance, securities processing, and market data solutions and services for over 2,000 clients in the financial market. He also spent 11 years as a senior executive at SunGard and eight years as a president and senior executive of fintech software for the banking industry at K-Tek International. Costigan has a Bachelor of Science degree in economics from Northeastern University.

 

2. Rajesh Mirjankar
Company: Infrasoft Technologies
Title: Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer

Rajesh Mirjankar is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Univius, a subsidiary of Infrasoft Technologies. Univius is InfrasoftTech’s regtech solution and is a robust and secured framework inviting banks into a continuously evolving regulatory landscape. Driven by cutting-edge technologies such as AI, ML, blockchain, and RPA, Univius Regtech Solutions helps banks in automating mundane activities and processes and mitigating fraudulent and malicious instances while staying compliant. In his dual role with Infrasoft and Univius, Mirjankar has spearheaded the company’s growth and vision. He brings to his role renowned customer relationship skills, a collaborative management style, and the ability to develop innovative technology solutions.

Mirjankar has been the CEO since 2010 and was previously the president of U.K. & Europe, where he drove the company’s visibility and expansion to the region. Mirjankar’s career spans 28 years dedicated to banking technology with a unique blend of business and technology competence. 3. David Wilson

Title: Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer

David Wilson is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer at Accuity. With over 30,000 employees in 180 countries, Accuity is a world-leading, global provider of B2B information, data services, analytics tools, and workflow solutions across multiple countries. Accuity protects reputations with comprehensive data and software to control risk and compliance, and flexible tools to optimize payments processes. Wilson first joined Accuity three years ago as chief operating officer before taking on his current role. His overall responsibility for Accuity is to oversee all the brand and product groups, as well as client, data, and technology operations. An experienced business leader with a strong track record of success in transforming global teams and businesses, Wilson focuses on data and analytics, workflow and information solutions, and business and product development.

Prior to Accuity, Wilson spent 17 years at Reed Business Information (RBI) in various leadership positions, working his way up from group sales manager to managing director, before spending his last three years as CEO. At RBI, he transformed a number of business segments and led the company through its acquisitions of Farmade, Adaptris, and F4F. He also worked as head of sales and sales manager at Newsquest and Johnston Press across 11 years. Wilson graduated from the University of Liverpool.

4. Sadeesh Venugopal
Company: Sensiple
Title: President and Chief Executive Officer

Sadeesh Venugopal is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Sensiple and its subsidiary Setrega, a role he has held for 22 years. Setrega is a global regtech platform for all market participants, that enables financial organizations, reporting entities, and regulatory authorities to automate their regulatory compliance requirements. It supports multiple regulatory frameworks (MiFID II, EMIR, SFTR, SEC, etc.) for global regulatory authorities (ESMA, FCA, SEBI, etc.) in automating their regulatory requirements. Under Venugopal’s leadership, Setrega provides end-to-end regulatory process automation during data collection, data validation, report generation, report verification, and report submission. He leads a high performing team of achievers in developing and executing sustainable and effective initiatives.

In addition to leading Sensiple since its founding, Venugopal is also the President and CEO of E*Pro Inc., where he is responsible for vision, strategy, finance, human resources, and operations for the company. He received a Master of Science degree in physics from St. Joseph’s College, Tiruchirapalli.

 

5. Brendan Galla
Company: Exiger
Title: President, Exiger Tech

As President of Exiger Tech, Brendan Galla is responsible for driving Exiger’s mission to create the world’s most extensible due diligence technology platform. Galla directs the strategic vision and product roadmap that have seen Exiger’s award-winning DDIQ proliferate compliance and risk management efforts globally. Having been at the leading-edge of regtech for the past 15+ years, at each stage of his career Galla has been responsible for identifying client problems, envisioning how technology can help, and designing purpose-built solutions for financial institutions, corporations, and governments.

Prior to being President of Exiger Tech, Galla was Exiger’s chief product officer, bridging customer and technical roles. He first joined Exiger as VP of partner development, leading the simultaneous development of DDIQ and Insight3PM, Exiger’s corporate third-party risk management platform. Before Exiger, Galla was the director of product management at SiteCompli. He was also the director of client technologies at Kroll and a product manager for Alacra. Galla earned his degree from Stonehill College.

 

6. Robert Prigge
Company: Jumio
Title: Chief Executive Officer

Robert Prigge is the self-described ‘indefatigable’ Chief Executive Officer of Jumio, with a mission to make the internet safe for consumers and businesses by innovating the next generation of biometrics and machine learning technology. Since its founding in 2010, the company has verified more than 225 million identities issued by over 200 countries and territories from real-time web and mobile transactions. Jumio’s solutions are used by leading companies in the financial services, sharing economy, digital currency, retail, travel, and online gaming sectors. It operates globally with offices in North America, Latin America, Europe, and Asia. A veteran of the tech space, Prigge brings to Jumio over 20 years of experience and is currently responsible for all aspects of Jumio’s business and strategy.

Prigge’s most recent previous role was as chief sales officer at Infrascale and chief commercial officer at Spruce Finance. He was also previously the North America sales leader for IBM and held vice president positions at both Sterling Commerce and Secure Computing. His earliest leadership role was as chief operating officer at Japan InfoTech. An avid volunteer as well, Prigge has served with Heifer International and Doggie Protection Services. Prigge received his Bachelor of Science degree in materials science and engineering from the University of Illinois and has an AI qualification from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

 

7. Gabe Moynagh
Company: Sysnet Global Solutions
Title: Chief Executive Officer

Gabe Moynagh is the Chief Executive Officer of Sysnet Global Solutions, a role he has held for almost 12 years. Established in 1989, Sysnet Global Solutions empowers businesses to be secure and compliant through award-winning cybersecurity solutions and extraordinary services and support. Since its inception, Sysnet Global Solutions has provided the payment card industry with cybersecurity and compliance solutions that help businesses to improve security and reduce risk. The company is headquartered in Dublin.

A young gun, Moynagh joined the company as a corporate account manager. He held that role for four years before becoming the CEO of the company. His only prior role was as a junior executive at Sysnet, which he held for five months. As a CEO, Moynagh has over a decade of experience in a growing managed compliance and cybersecurity software business. Moynagh received a degree in science and biology from University College Dublin.

 

8. Vishal Marria
Company: Quantexa
Title: Founder and Chief Executive Officer

Vishal Marria is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Quantexa, an information technology company that specializes in the fields of analytics, data science, and big data. Quantexa’s vision is for all organizations to have the ability to harness their data to uncover hidden risks and discover new opportunities, a goal it achieves through its sustainable and scalable platform. Under Marria’s leadership, the company has been successful in delivering operational systems on leading technologies that leverage sophisticated data science techniques to help extract maximum value for clients.

Marria has maintained senior leadership positions across his career since 2005. Before co-founding Quantexa, he was an executive director at Ernst & Young where he was part of the Compliance IT Advisory team, focused on fraud and financial crimes across EMEIA in the financial services sector. He was also previously a senior director at SAS and the director of financial services for Detica NetReveal at BAE Systems. Marria received his Bachelor of Science degree in computer science, as well as his Master of Science degree in business information security from Royal Holloway, University of London.

 

9. Charles Delingpole

Title: Founder and Chief Executive Officer

Charles Delingpole is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of award-winning regtech ComplyAdvantage, an AML data and technology company empowering financial crime fighters. ComplyAdvantage’s suite of configurable cloud services integrates seamlessly to help automate and reduce the frustration of complying with Sanctions, AML, and CTF regulations. Since its founding in 2014, ComplyAdvantage’s 200+ employees proudly serve over 500 customers in 75 countries. The company has won multiple awards including the XCelent Advanced Technology Award, LIBF Best Innovation for Corporate Onboarding with Santander, and the Sunday Times Tech Track Digital Innovation Award. The company recently raised $50 million in Series C funding for further expansion under Delingpole’s leadership.

A serial entrepreneur, Delingpole also founded MarketFinance where he served as CEO for four years, and The Student Room where he also worked as CEO for seven years. Delingpole also worked at J.P. Morgan as an investment banking associate in technology, media, and telecoms. Delingpole received his Master of Science degree in management, strategy, and finance from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and a Master of Arts degree in politics from the University of Cambridge.

 

10. Lisa Bonalle-Hannan
Company: Verisk Financial
Title: President

Lisa Bonalle-Hannan is the President of Verisk Financial, overseeing its Argus, Fintellix, G2, LCI, Marketview, and Verisk Retail businesses. The company is a leading provider of a data management platform, regulatory technology, supervisory technology, compliance management, risk management, and analytical solutions to the banking and financial services industry. Today the company has offices in the U.S., U.K., India, U.A.E., Singapore, Australia, and South Africa working with leading and progressive banks and financial services organizations in over 30 countries, as well as leading regulators/supervisors globally. Bonalle-Hannan has more than 20 years of experience in payments, credit cards, and consumer banking, and has worked extensively in corporate strategy and new product development.

Bonalle-Hannan most recently served as Verisk Financial’s chief marketing officer and business development executive, responsible for marketing, business development, partnerships, strategic alliances, and media effectiveness. Before joining Verisk Financial, Hannan held the role of president, North American Financial Solutions for Affinion Group. She has also held a number of senior management positions at Citicard and the credit card division of JPMorgan Chase. Hannan holds a Master of Business Administration degree from New York University and an undergraduate degree from Providence College.

 

11. Parth Desai

Parth Desai is the Founder and CEO of Pelican AI, serving on its Board of Directors. A serial entrepreneur, Desai previously founded OneLinq in 2015 as well as PelicanPay and currently serves as Chairman and CEO for those companies respectively. Prior to Pelican, Desai was a research scientist for Cognitive Systems, Inc. for six years. Desai received his Bachelor of Science degree in computer science and engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. He also received his Master of Science degree in artificial intelligence from the Georgia Institute of Technology and participated in senior management programs at both Harvard Business School and INSEAD.

 

12. Brian Cleary

Title: Director

A goal-oriented sales and relationship management executive, Brian Cleary is the Director at CME Group and Traiana (its regtech subsidiary). Known as the world’s leading and most diverse derivatives marketplace, CME Group is globally known for managing risk. It offers the widest range of global benchmark products across all major asset classes, including futures and options based on interest rates, equity indexes, foreign exchange, energy, agricultural commodities, metals, weather, and real estate. Traiana is the company’s trade lifecycle processing service that manages risks and creates operational efficiency using the program’s proven cross-asset post-trade network. Today, over 2,000 firms use Traiana globally. Cleary brings to Traiana and CME Group 13 years of experience working in the financial services industry. He joined the company briefly as vice president before becoming Director.

Before CME Group, Cleary was the vice president of fixed income account management and sales for NEX Group for five years. He joined NEX Group from ICAP where he spent almost seven years of his career, first as an associate before becoming the fixed income product specialist. Cleary received a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology and organizational studies at Denison University and studied global economics at The Umbra Institute.

 

13. Doug Morgan

Title: Chief Executive Officer

Doug Morgan is the Chief Executive Officer of Compliance Solutions Strategies (CSS), a role he has helmed for over a year. Earlier in his career, Morgan was a senior vice president for Investment Management Group and First Call Corporation. He has also worked as a manager at Deloitte. Morgan received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Yale University and a Master of Business Administration degree from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

 

14. Tim Estes

Title: Executive Chairman and Co-CEO

Tim Estes is the Executive Chairman and Co-CEO of Digital Reasoning, a company he founded in college 20 years ago. Digital Reasoning builds software to automate the understanding of structured and unstructured data based on a distinctive, patented mathematical approach to understanding natural language. The company leverages distributed computing technologies to make these analytics work effectively on big data. Outside of Digital Reasoning, Estes was on the chair and development committee for Nashville Technology Council for two years. As a company leader, Estes now particularly focuses on vision, technology, strategy, and customer needs working toward the goal of democratizing the technology that can automate understanding of data for end-users. He is an advocate and speaker for the use of technology and analytics to achieve social good in industry, government, healthcare, and academia. Estes acquired his Bachelor of Arts degree in philosophy from the University of Virginia.

 

15. Raphael Melo

Raphael Melo is the Founder of idwall, an award-winning company that has operated since June of 2016. Idwall’s mission is to build trust through data and technology and the company makes good on its promise by pioneering technology that empowers SMBs and enterprise businesses with compliant, scalable, and secure identity verification, which enables them to build and sustain trust in an unsafe digital world. Melo was an entrepreneur prior to idwall as well and was a co-founder for Joysticket where he stayed for two years. He gained further experience from working for three years as a customer experience designer and systems analyst at Banco Original, as well as an IT and computer programming instructor at Microcamp. Melo received his education from Universidade Estadual de Campinas.

 

16. Sue Childs

Title: Chief Marketing and Client Officer

With over 15 years of experience leading strategic SaaS marketing teams, Sue Childs is the Chief Marketing and Client Officer at ComplySci, a company she joined in 2019. Founded in 2003, ComplySci is a leading provider of technology solutions that help compliance organizations identify, monitor, manage, and report on conflicts of interest arising from employee activities, including personal trading, gifts and entertainment, political contributions, outside business affiliations, and other code of ethics violations. Today, the company is trusted by over 1,000 customers which include some of the world’s largest financial institutions. At ComplySci, Childs is responsible for the oversight and execution of all marketing efforts. She has broad expertise in marketing strategy, demand generation, website and content development, digital campaigns, marketing automation, events, product launches, and communications.

Before joining ComplySci, Childs was the head of marketing for Lumesis, Inc. a SaaS company focused on the municipal bond market. She has also held senior positions at EDGAR Online, WGSN, Viacom, and others. She also volunteers her time as the Vice President of the Board of Education for Pelham Public Schools, as a Board Member for Country Harvest, and as a Board Member for the Bank Street College of Education. Childs acquired a Bachelor of Arts degree from Colby College and a Master of Business Administration degree from Columbia University.

 

17. Abhishek Chatterjee
Company: Tookitaki
Title: Founder and Chief Executive Officer

Abhishek Chatterjee is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Tookitaki, a regtech startup combining machine learning, distributed systems, and business expertise to create the building blocks of sustainable compliance management. The company was founded in 2014, is headquartered in Singapore, and has global offices across the U.S. and India. Since its founding, Tookitaki has developed solutions to prevent money laundering, terror financing, and automation for large-scale banking reconciliations. Under Chatterjee’s leadership, the company is globally recognized in its space, shaping the industry in new ways. Chatterjee has been with the company since its founding, and in 2019, The World Economic Forum recognized Tookitaki as a Technology Pioneer.

Before his entrepreneurial venture, Chatterjee was with JPMorgan for over five years working as an associate. He also held software engineering roles across DoubleClick and Three Point Software. This past year, Chatterjee also joined the Singapore FinTech Festival as a mentor. Chatterjee received a Bachelor of Engineering degree in computer engineering from Pune University and his Master of Science degree in computational biology from the University of Southern California.

 

18. Brian Fahey
Company: MyComplianceOffice
Title: Chief Executive Officer

Brian Fahey is the Chief Executive Officer of MyComplianceOffice (MCO), a role he has held for 13 years. Founded in 2005, MCO provides compliance management software that enables companies around the world to reduce their risk of misconduct. The MyComplianceOffice platform enables compliance professionals to demonstrate they are proactively managing the regulated activities of employees, third-party vendors, and other agents of the firm in an easy-to-use and extensible SaaS-based solution. At MCO, Fahey combines a deep knowledge of GRC for the capital markets industry with extensive technical experience to deliver industry-leading risk and compliance IT solutions that can adapt to rapidly changing business and regulatory environments.

Prior to MCO, Fahey helmed a series of senior management positions including five years as vice president of fidelity investments, four years as chief operating officer of TerraNua, and four years as vice president of Access Data Corp. He was also the head of investment systems for John Hancock and vice president of information systems at Hagler, Mastrovita & Hewitt. An entrepreneur, Fahey has also run a consulting practice and access data firm that specialized in technology solutions for the investment industry. Fahey has a Bachelor of Commerce degree and a Master of Management Science degree from the University College of Dublin, as well as a Master of Business Administration degree from Northeastern University.

 

19. Simone Maini
Company: Elliptic
Title: Chief Executive Officer

Simone Maini is the Chief Executive Officer at Elliptic, a role she has held for just shy of a year after ascending from a four-year tenure as COO. Since 2013, Elliptic has been a global standard for blockchain intelligence. Elliptic identifies illicit activity on the Bitcoin blockchain and provides services to financial institutions and law enforcement agencies. In its seven-year lifespan, Elliptic has won multiple awards including the 2015 Security Project of the Year Award (The Banker) and was an awardee in the 2015 Swift Innotribe Growth Stage Startup Competition. It was also named a Top 10 Global Emerging Star by KPMG Fintech 100. In her leadership role, Maini guides and operationalizes Elliptic’s vision, enabling customers to efficiently manage crypto asset risk, grow business, and meet regulatory obligations.

Prior to Elliptic, Maini spent just short of five years at Kroll as an associate director and senior director of product strategy and innovation. She joined Kroll after working at Deutsche Bank first as a graduate before becoming a corporate finance business management consultant for seven years, responding directly to the global chief operating officer. A leading voice on mainstreaming cryptocurrency, combating financial crime, and instilling trust in the cryptosphere, Maini is also part of the invitation-only WEF Digital Currency Governance Consortium. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in history from the University of Cambridge.

 

20. Oliver Blower
Company: VoxSmart
Title: Group Chief Executive Officer

A proven leader with a track record of transformation within early-stage, high-growth tech and markets businesses, Oliver Blower is the Group Chief Executive Officer of VoxSmart. VoxSmart builds communications surveillance for capital markets and since the company’s founding in 2006, it has become known for enabling businesses to clarify communications and mitigate risks by delivering critical insights and business intelligence in real-time. Today, the company has a client base of over 100 including banks, investment managers, and inter-dealer brokers in the U.S., Canada, Europe, and Asia. Blower brings to VoxSmart over 20 years of experience across law, finance, and security. At VoxSmart, Blower positions the brand as a global leader, and under his stewardship over the past six years, the company has become a venture-backed, early-stage B2B SaaS company.

Prior to VoxSmart, Blower was the independent non-executive director at Bitstamp. He held the same title for three years at Fonetic before that. His work in finance also saw him work for two years at Merrill Lynch and for over a year at Barclays in debt capital markets and fixed income trading. He spent six years at fintech Traiana and worked as a Barrister in criminal and family law for a year as well. In Feb 2018, Blower was appointed independent non-executive chairman at Torca. Blower received a Master of Business Administration degree from Cass Business School and his Bachelor of Laws and Master of Laws degrees from the University of Surrey.

 

21. Gerardo Santos
Company: Abside RegTech
Title: Chief Technology Officer

Gerardo Santos is the Chief Technology Officer of Abside RegTech, a subsidiary of Dominion Digital Banking and Insurance. He has been with the company as CEO for nine years. Abside RegTech is a company that focuses on transforming compliance into a competitive advantage, achieving efficient and effective regulatory compliance in anti-money laundering and terrorism financing. Its solutions are characterized by short implementation times and integration of regulatory compliance, risks, reporting, and more. As CTO, Santos oversees the strategic development of solutions and business modeling, as well as the company’s vision and roadmap. He develops and implements solutions and sees them through to market launch.

Before Abside RegTech, Santos was a project manager at Indra for four years. Before that, he was the architect of systems information at Slater Labs and Temenos for seven years. He held further roles at Info93 and Rural Servicios Informaticos S.L. Santos received a Diploma in information and systems from Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca.

 

22. Andrew Simpson

Title: Chief Operating Officer

Andrew Simpson is the Chief Operating Officer at Alessa, a leader in the continuous monitoring and compliance space. A division of CaseWare International, Alessa builds software to help organizations from across the globe fight financial crime. The flagship product is a financial crimes management solution that allows organizations to quickly identify high-risk entities and suspicious activities early, and investigate and resolve alerts. Alessa is trusted by banks, insurance companies, fintechs, gaming institutions, and manufacturing and retail companies. Simpson has been with the company for over a decade and is also the founder and chairman of Symptai Consulting Limited.

A serial entrepreneur, Simpson also founded SymSure Limited where he was CEO and founder between 2006 and 2010. Prior to founding his first business in his mid-twenties, Simpson worked as a consultant at Ernst & Young and was an IT Auditor at Cable & Wireless Jamaica. Simpson earned a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics and computer science from the University of the West Indies, as well as a Master of Business Administration degree from Bangor University.

 

23. Michael Nicastro

An industry veteran with 45 years’ experience, Michael Nicastro is the Chief Executive at Continuity, a fintech company providing compliance and risk management solutions in the growing regtech sector. The company was founded in 2008. Nicastro joined the Board of Directors in 2009 and became CEO in 2016. Under his leadership, Continuity has become a leading regtech provider through its combination of subject matter expertise and cloud-based technology solutions which reduce the regulatory burden and mitigate challenges with compliance and risk at a reasonable cost. He is also the owner and principal of Coppermine Advisors, LLC, a business advisory firm.

Throughout his fintech career, Nicastro has led product and market strategies. He was the senior vice president/chief marketing and product officer of Open Solutions Inc. (now Fiserv) and was in product leadership with the Data Services Division of the NCR Corporation. He also worked in banking at Citicorp and early on with Bristol Savings bank. He has served on the board of the former Simsbury Bank & Trust and has served for 14 years as Board Secretary of the Hartford Stage Company. He holds multiple other board and honorary positions, demonstrating his depth of experience. He is recognized as the entrepreneur-in-residence and member of the faculty at the CCSU School of Business. Nicastro received a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing from Central Connecticut State University and a Juris Doctor degree from the Western New England University School of Law.

 

24. Reda Bouakel

Reda Bouakel is the Chief Executive Officer of 2OS, a role he’s held for over five years. Founded in 2012, the 2OS no-code and AI platform is a concentrate of technology combining artificial intelligence, big data and analysis tools, automation of robotic processes, and integration and interoperability in the cloud-managed, no-code universe. The platform aims to provide sophisticated business software applications without any lines of code and highly efficient AI algorithms. Bouakel first joined the company as CEO of Fortia Financial Solutions, one of 2OS’s subsidiaries.

Before 2OS, Bouakel was a sales director for EMEA at Princeton Financial Systems for over three years. He also worked as the sales director for France for ORFIVAL for four years, as well as gaining sales experience in asset management software at MISYS Asset Management Systems. Bouakel received a Master of Science degree in financial engineering from Universite Cote d’Azur.

 

25. Wolfgang Fabisch

Wolfgang Fabisch is the Co-Founder, Chairman of the Executive Board, and Chief Executive Officer of b-next Group. B-next AG is one of the world’s leading providers of corporate software in the capital markets trading surveillance and compliance sector. Since its founding in 1989, the corporation has grown significantly, facilitating a customer base in the finance sector that includes renowned banks, brokers, supervisory bodies, and energy suppliers, among others. In the 30 years of the company’s history, several hundred customer projects have been successfully carried out from its offices in Germany, Great Britain, and the United States. Fabisch’s responsibilities at b-next are to oversee the strategic and operational responsibility of the business.

With over 30 years of professional and management experience in governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) for the financial sector, Fabsich is a respected industry executive who regularly lectures on these topics. Before founding b-next in 1989, Fabisch held senior positions at IBM and Reuters. He holds a degree in business administration.
