Lawrence Calcano, Chairman & CEO

Lawrence is Chairman and CEO of iCapital. He began advising and working with iCapital shortly after its 2013 founding, leading key strategic and business development initiatives, before joining full time as CEO in early 2014. Since then, he has led the rapid growth – both organic and through acquisition – of iCapital, building it into a leading global Fintech company.


Jason Broder, Managing Director & Chief Product Officer

Jason Broder is a Managing Director and Chief Product Officer at iCapital. He is responsible for iCapital’s comprehensive product and platform roadmap and set of technology offerings. He is a member of the Firm’s Management Committee.


For more than ten years, Jason’s career has been dedicated to the notion that uniting cutting-edge technology with the expertise of industry leaders would empower advisors to better serve their clients. He previously served as the Chief Executive Officer of SIMON Markets LLC, a financial technology company acquired by iCapital in August 2022. Recognizing an industry-wide gap in the education and life cycle management of structured investment products, Jason spearheaded the creation of the SIMON platform in 2012 from the Structured Investments desk at Goldman Sachs. He was responsible for the development and rollout of the platform for the six years leading up to SIMON’s formation as an independent company—and multi-issuer platform—in 2018.


Chris Piazza, Managing Director & Chief Technology Officer

Chris is Chief Technology Officer at iCapital, where he manages all software development and technology. He is also a member of the company’s Operating Committee. He has over 20 years of technology experience, having most recently served as CTO for PINCHme.com, where he delivered a high-volume consumer platform for the targeted delivery of consumer packaged goods products. Prior to PINCHme, he was the fifth employee and CTO of OneWire, where he built the product and technology teams and produced the first-ever SaaS online recruiting solution focused on the financial services market. His earlier achievements include both start-ups and established companies, among them the development of a SaaS procurement platform delivered to Fortune 200 clients and co-founding a digital agency, which grew to 80 employees.


Marco Bizzozero, Managing Director, Head of International

Marco is Head of International at iCapital and a member of the firm’s Executive Committee. In this role, he is responsible for the global expansion and overall management of the Firm’s business outside the United States, with a focus on EMEA, APAC, LATAM and Canada markets.


Marco has 30 years of international experience in the financial industry and has held senior executive positions in global organizations in wealth management and private equity. He joined iCapital in 2020 from UniCredit, where he was CEO of Group Wealth Management and a member of the Group Executive Management Committee. Previously, Marco was with Deutsche Bank for 14 years, including nine years as Head of Wealth Management EMEA and CEO of Deutsche Bank Switzerland and, prior to this, as Global Head of Private Equity for the Wealth Management division.


Steve Houston, Managing Director, Co-Head of iCapital Solutions

Steve is a Managing Director and Co-Head of iCapital Solutions. He is a member of the firm’s Management Committee and Operating Committee. Steve is responsible for overseeing the delivery of the iCapital technology and operating system suite of capabilities to the firm’s enterprise clients, including wealth managers, asset managers, structured note issuers, and insurance carriers. Prior to joining iCapital, Steve was a partner of m+ funds, which was acquired by the firm. Previous roles have included Head of Americas Wealth Management at Barclays, and Co-Head of the Alternative Investments and Structured Investments business at Merrill Lynch.


Dan Vene, Co-Founder & Managing Partner, Head of Investment Solutions

Dan is Co-Founder and one of the Managing Partners of iCapital, where he is Head of Investment Solutions, the largest global platform that connects wealth managers with the world’s leading alternative asset managers. Dan is also a member of the company’s Managing Committee, Operating Committee and Investment Committee. Prior to founding iCapital, Dan was head of private real estate capital raising at Fir Tree Partners, a $12.5 billion AUM multi-strategy investment firm. He was also a partner at Eaton Partners, where he was responsible for real estate and real asset fund origination, structuring, and distribution. Dan previously was Founder and CEO of Earnings.com, a leading financial database and aggregator of corporate events, which was acquired by Thomson Financial in 2001. He received a BS degree in finance and marketing from Cornell University. Dan also serves as a board member of the IPA (Institute for Portfolio Alternatives) and a member of the Pension Real Estate Association and NCREIF. He holds FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses as well as an FSA license.


Eileen Duff Blalock, Managing Partner, Chief Client Success Officer

Eileen is a Managing Partner and Chief Client Success Officer at iCapital, where she oversees the Investor Relations, Enterprise Integration, and Client Operations teams and works to optimize the end-to-end client experience. She is also a member of the company’s Operating Committee. Previously, Eileen was iCapital’s Head of Fund Management & Research, responsible for the origination and development of new investment products, life cycle management of existing offerings, and new fund launches across all client relationships. She also spent two years as iCapital’s Head of Distribution, leading sales and relationship management supporting the RIA, broker-dealer, private banking, and family office communities. Before joining iCapital, Eileen was Head of Alternative Investments, North America, at Credit Suisse, where she built and oversaw the origination and distribution functions for private equity, hedge funds, managed futures, real estate, and other key alternative asset classes. Eileen began her career with Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette where she was responsible for global marketing in the private client group. She is a graduate of the University of Delaware and holds FINRA Series 7 and 24 licenses.


Magdalena Pandiloska, Managing Director, Chief Marketing Officer

Magdalena is a Managing Director and the Chief Marketing Officer at iCapital. She runs worldwide marketing which includes brand, communications, PR and media, advertising, content, digital strategy, events, market intelligence, and marketing operations. Most recently, Magdalena was the Chief Marketing Officer for Microsoft in Canada, where she was responsible for leading and building a world-class commercial marketing organization. Notably, she led the modern marketing transformation, which outperformed the market and took share from competition for Cloud solutions. Pandiloska played a pivotal role in transforming the brand into the #1 commercial brand in Canada and earning multiple industry awards for innovation.


Before joining Microsoft, Magdalena led marketing efforts on a global scale at various organizations, such as Dyson, TORLYS, Seavus, and Ein-Sof. She earned a bachelor’s degree in international business from St. Klement Ohridski University, Macedonia, Europe. She actively serves in her community, on the board of directors of MMBA basketball association, and as a former member of the CMA MarTech, DEI, and B2B committee.
