Ksenia Yudina, Founder & CEO
Ksenia Yudina is a Founder and CEO of UNest, the first mobile app that makes it easier than ever for parents to open a simple and affordable tax-advantaged investment account for their kids. Ksenia is an entrepreneur and financial expert with over ten years of experience in the financial industry. As Founder and CEO of UNest she has spearheaded the development of the breakthrough fintech solution and raised funding from leading venture capital funds including Northwestern Mutual, Anthos Capital, The Artemis Fund, Group 11, Draper Dragon, Unlock Ventures, and Vested Ventures. Ksenia was a 2019 Finalist in Quesnays Female Founders in Fintech competition. She has also been featured in The Wall Street Journal, TechCrunch, New York Times, Forbes, Business Insider, American Banker, Inc. Magazine, USA Today, and US News & World Report. Ksenia was recognized as 40 Under 40 by Investment News and received a Rising Star Award from the Los Angeles Business Journal.
Yudina earned an MBA in finance and investment management from UCLA Anderson School of Management and an undergraduate degree in finance from California State University of Northridge.
Peter Mansfield, CMO
Peter Mansfield is the CMO of UNest. Mansfield is an accomplished marketing professional with an impressive track record helping startups, growth stage, and corporate clients in fintech and financial services. Over the course of 25 years, Peter has been involved in an amazing sequence of startup and corporate adventures, successes, and occasional failures. This makes him particularly valuable in helping ventures move quickly and efficiently to realize their market potential. He has had exits with Wallaby Financial (acquired by Bankrate), PropertyBridge (acquired by Moneygram), Vertical Finance (acquired by Apto Payments), and Brand3 (acquired by American Express). He was also team member #2 at Marqeta, a payments processor that IPO’d in 2021 with a market value of $14 billion.
Steve Buchanan, CTO
Steve Buchanan is the CTO of UNest. Buchanan first got his start in 1986 as a senior developer and architect at Wood Mackenzie. From there, he went on to Renaissance Software, before eventually rising to vice president at MUFG Union Bank, his most recent position prior to joining UNest. Buchanan graduated from the University of Edinburgh with an undergraduate degree in computer science.
Michael Doniger, COO
Michael Doniger is the COO of UNest, which he first joined in 2022. Previously, Doniger was a head of investing at MoneyLion and before that worked as a Director of Strategy & Advisory Solutions at Morgan Stanley. Earlier in his career he worked with Barclays Wealth and Investment Management as an Assistant Vice President of investment advisory.
Doniger earned an MBA in investments and securities strategy from New York University of Leonard N. Stern School of Business and an undergraduate degree in finance and marketing from University of Maryland of Robert H. Smith School of Business.
