MSCI, a global leader in investment decision support tools, has announced the appointment of Luke Flemmer as Head of Private Assets. In this role, Flemmer will oversee the development and scaling of MSCI’s Private Assets business, reporting to Alvise Munari, the company’s Chief Product Officer. With a base in New York, Flemmer is tasked with advancing MSCI’s private market solutions, ensuring rigorous data and analytics to support investors in navigating capital formation, asset selection, and portfolio management.
Flemmer brings a wealth of expertise to MSCI, having served as Managing Director, Head of Digital Strategy for Alternative Investments at Goldman Sachs. Prior to that, he co-founded and led Lab49, a provider of investment technology solutions, and held leadership roles at ION’s Capital Markets division. His extensive background in private assets and financial analytics positions him as a key driver of MSCI’s initiatives in this critical growth segment. Flemmer’s appointment reinforces MSCI’s commitment to innovation and excellence in serving the global investment community.
