Acquired.com Appoints Lee Clifton as its Chief Operating Officer

Acquired.com, the next-generation payments company of recurring commerce, has appointed Lee Clifton as its Chief Operating Officer as the company continues its expansion in the recurring commerce sector. Clifton will be responsible for strengthening strategic relationships with key customers and enhancing operational performance to support the company’s growth. His appointment follows the hiring of Eline Blomme as Chief Strategy and Product Officer and the completion of a $5 million funding deal with Beach Point Capital Management in October 2024.

Clifton brings extensive experience from leadership roles at Stripe and JPMorgan, where he specialized in strategy, product development, and payment optimization. He also serves as Chair of the Global Board at the Merchant Risk Council. Acquired.com’s Co-Founder and CEO, Greg Cox, expressed confidence in Clifton’s expertise and leadership, stating, “I am delighted to have another superstar join at a pivotal time for the business, as we continue our ambitious growth journey. Being able to attract someone of Lee’s calibre from an organisation like Stripe further evidences the huge impact Acquired.com is making in the payments market.”
