This development makes Affirm the first BNPL provider to integrate with Adyen for Platforms, an end-to-end payment solution designed for platform businesses such as marketplaces, crowdfunding platforms, and on-demand services. The partnership now extends to Canada, enabling Adyen merchants to offer Affirm’s monthly installment plans alongside biweekly payment options. Affirm’s customizable payment plans, ranging from 6 weeks to 36 months with no late or hidden fees, empower consumers to make flexible, transparent financial decisions.
Since its inception in 2020, the Affirm-Adyen collaboration has seen significant growth, with annual volume increasing sevenfold between 2021 and 2023. Affirm’s mission to provide honest financial products aligns seamlessly with Adyen’s commitment to delivering innovative, data-driven payment solutions for businesses worldwide. Affirm’s integration has already facilitated over $125 million in payments through AffiniPay, an Adyen partner.
