Backpack Exchange Appoints Oliver Sleafer as CFO, Strengthening Financial Leadership

Backpack Exchange, a globally regulated cryptocurrency exchange, has named Oliver Sleafer as its Chief Financial Officer for its regulated subsidiaries in the U.S. and the Asia Pacific regions. Sleafer, a seasoned finance professional with over sixteen years of experience in regulated financial services, brings a wealth of expertise to his new role. Prior to joining Backpack Exchange, he held senior management positions at Credit Suisse and served as the head of APAC liquidity management at Stripe, where he oversaw the regional treasury function and asset safeguarding. As CFO, Sleafer will oversee the finance function and be responsible for custody of user assets and liquidity management at Backpack Exchange's regulated entities, ensuring adherence to the highest standards of transparency and accountability.
