Bottomline Buys Payments Software Company Nexus Systems

For accounts payable and payment automation, there may be no company that has pushed the boundaries for real estate and property management businesses everywhere more than Nexus Systems. The Virginia-based software developer has reinvented payments with its unique procure-to-pay solution, and has continued to drive innovation in the field for more than twenty years.

As of a deal announced on September 15, Nexus will be contributing its formidable software capabilities to rising business fintech star Bottomline. Although the terms of the deal have not been announced, it is expected that Nexus’ P2P software will be linked to the Bottomline Paymode-X B2B payments network, offering the benefits of Nexus’ tech to Bottomline’s network of more than 500,000 businesses.
