Brex Pulls Meta Business Leader Karandeep Anand As New CPO

Business fintech firm Brex is starting the year off on a strong foot. Fresh from racking up $300 million in their most recent round of D-2 funding led by Greenoaks Capital, the financial operations disruptor has also tapped Meta’s Karandeep Anand as CPO.

“Brex is building a full financial operating system that keeps getting more comprehensive, all of which will delight existing customers and attract new ones,” said Greenoaks founder Neil Mehta. His optimism has been borne out by Brex’s rapid results: since its founding in 2017, Brex has assembled and launched a top-of-industry suite of business finance products, rocketing to a recent valuation in excess of $12 billion.

With Brex’s eye now on expanding its portfolio even further, Anand is a shrewd leader to bring onto their team. Anand most recently distinguished himself in a variety of executive roles with Meta, expanding the company’s Workplace platform and deepening its SaaS product offerings. Combined with his previous 15 years leading product management at Microsoft, it is clear that Brex could hardly have found a bigger name to help with carrying its culture of business finance excellence into the future.
