Broadridge Appoints Simon Robertshaw as CTO for Front Office Trading Division

Broadridge Financial Solutions, a prominent US-based fintech company specializing in investor communications and technology solutions for financial institutions, has named Simon Robertshaw as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of its front office trading capabilities division. Robertshaw, based in London, will be responsible for unifying and advancing all front-office trading operations within the organization, including Broadridge Trading and Connectivity Solutions and other platforms that serve the capital markets, investment management, wealth management, and investor communications sectors. He brings a wealth of experience to Broadridge, having previously served as COO at The Bank of London.

Robertshaw's career includes leadership roles at renowned financial institutions such as Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, Wachovia Bank, and UBS. His appointment follows Broadridge’s recent hiring of Roz Smith, a former HSBC executive, as the new Chief Operating Officer of Broadridge International. Founded in 2007, Broadridge has established itself as a significant player in the fintech space, generating over $6 billion in annual revenue and supporting a daily trading volume exceeding $10 trillion across various securities. Robertshaw's expertise is expected to play a crucial role in further scaling and enhancing Broadridge's front-office trading operations.
