Building on a Year of Growth, Kris Nagel Joins Sift as Its New CEO

Digital trust and safety leader Sift has begun 2023 with a running start. Having posted impressive gains in its customer base last year and launched upgrades to its platform’s data efficiency and fraud-fighting technology, the San Francisco fintech company has also filled out its leadership team with notable movers and shakers from across the industry.

That team is now appointed with a new leader by the name of Kris Nagel, a software industry veteran with the experience and know-how to continue driving Sift’s growth into the future. Late the COO of Ping Identity and CEO of Vindicia, Nagel announced ambitious plans for how he would improve on Sift’s infrastructure as its new Chief Executive Officer.

“Sift set the standard for establishing trust between business and consumers more than a decade ago when it applied machine learning to combat fraud and accelerate revenue conversion,” said Nagel in a press release. “We now offer a true platform to prevent fraud from login to post-purchase, while ensuring legitimate customers aren’t treated like criminals. Sift has so much opportunity to further expand our platform, partner with our customers, and amplify our growth.”
