ConnexPay Names Ben Peters as CEO, Continues Expansion with C-suite Additions

ConnexPay, a US-based paytech company founded in 2017, has appointed Ben Peters as its new CEO, succeeding company founder Bob Kaufman, who transitions to the role of chairman of the board of directors. Kaufman expressed confidence in Peters, citing his extensive experience and proven track record in growing and scaling companies within the payments sector as integral to ConnexPay's future success. Peters joins ConnexPay from VikingCloud, where he served as interim president, following a tenure as COO at VPay, a digital platform specializing in insurance claim payments.

Headquartered in Florida, ConnexPay offers a comprehensive acquiring and issuing solution, boasting integration of payment acceptance and issuance within a unified platform. Catering primarily to e-commerce and travel sectors, its payment solution facilitates businesses in accepting payments from clients and issuing payments to suppliers through single-use virtual cards. Peters' appointment follows a series of notable additions to ConnexPay's C-suite, including Blair Jeffery as COO in 2022 and George Hansen as chief revenue officer in October 2023. The strategic leadership changes reflect ConnexPay's commitment to expanding its market presence and advancing its innovative payment solutions.
