Mobile payment solutions company BlytzPay has been awarded the title of “Best in Show” at 2019’s international Finovate Spring conference. The conference is designed to showcase today’s cutting-edge financial technology, and its annual competition calls upon the audience to vote for the most innovative financial technology company on display. BlytzPay succeeded in winning “Best in Show” over the other sixty international companies in competition.
Founded in 2017 and based in Salt Lake City, BlytzPay’s mobile payment solution is aimed at increasing the ease of use and transaction speed for businesses looking to invoice and collect payments from their customers. BlytzPay’s co-founder and CEO Robyn Burkinshaw described her company as “provid[ing] a comprehensive yet simple solution for businesses to communicate, invoice and collect from their customers via text message.”
BlytzPay’s mobile payment solution is designed to allow businesses to make it convenient for their customers to pay invoices via credit card, check or cash while also lowering the company’s overhead. The streamlined text communication model allows merchants and their customers to easily and quickly correspond via two-way text communication.
The company also places significant focus on boosting financial inclusion by tearing down a number of silos created by traditional financial institutions, with a goal of offering an elegant and simple solution for merchants and their customers alike. Burkinshaw noted that “our product is designed for merchants, but it carefully caters to the consumer, as well…receiving this award speaks to the thoughtful, simple architecture of our technology."
