European financial service provider, Mollie, has announced a strategic partnership with PayPal to enhance payment solutions for marketplace platforms across Europe. This collaboration, a significant milestone for Mollie, will allow it to offer PayPal's secure and seamless payment options to marketplaces in the European Union and the UK. The partnership aims to improve shopping experiences, boost business growth, and provide a wide range of payment methods including credit/debit cards, digital wallets, bank transfers, and Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) options. With Mollie Connect, platforms can drive revenue growth and reduce operational costs through managed support and onboarding, simplifying the scaling process.

Guillaume Demier, Senior Director of Partnerships Europe at PayPal, highlighted the growing share of e-commerce by marketplaces and the high demand already seen from this partnership. With the establishment of this partnership, Mollie aims to empower marketplaces and SaaS platforms with seamless payment integration and monetization, furthering its mission to simplify payments for platforms and driving innovation in the marketplace segment.
