Blake will lead the digital strategy of MoneyGram Online (MGO), the company’s thriving platform that offers remittance services, cryptocurrency transactions, and bill payments. Reporting directly to Chairman and CEO Alex Holmes, Gordon-Blake joins the executive leadership team to focus on the global expansion and scaling of MGO. Holmes expressed confidence in Blake's fintech expertise, highlighting his track record of innovation and leadership in the industry.
Blake brings experience from his previous role as Chief Operating Officer and Co-Founder of Pangea, a digital money transfer service, which saw significant growth under his leadership. He aims to accelerate customer acquisition and long-term loyalty at MoneyGram by leveraging cutting-edge technology and expanding the company’s digital footprint. Serving over 50 million people annually in more than 200 countries, MoneyGram continues to drive digital growth, with over 50% of its transactions now occurring online. Headquartered in Dallas, MoneyGram’s commitment to global financial connectivity is further strengthened by this leadership addition.
