DailyPay, a work tech platform focused on supporting workers and employers, has named Nelson Chai as its Executive Chair. Chai, an accomplished executive with more than 30 years of leadership experience, will chair DailyPay’s Board of Directors and provide strategic guidance to support the organization’s continued growth. Most recently, Chai served as Chief Financial Officer at Uber from 2018 to 2023, where he played a key role in the company’s path to profitability and its successful IPO. Chai’s extensive career also includes executive roles as CEO of Warranty Group, President of CIT Group, and CFO of Merrill Lynch, NYSE Euronext, and Archipelago Holdings. He also serves on the boards of Chubb and Thermo Fisher Scientific.
