Nepsis Appoints Amanda Butler as First CTO

Nepsis, an investment and financial advisory firm based in Minneapolis, USA, has named Amanda Butler as its first Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Butler, who has been an outsourced consultant for Nepsis for over a decade, will now oversee the firm’s technology strategy and infrastructure, along with managing its technology vendor partnerships. Her responsibilities include expanding Nepsis’ technology stack and enhancing the integration of its wealth management and tax services. Additionally, Butler will collaborate with the firm’s design unit on product developments, including refining its proprietary app.

With over two decades of experience in the technology sector, Butler brings significant expertise to her new role. She spent 15 years at Mosaik Consulting, where she held the position of principal and contributed to the design of the company’s architecture and data model. Matt Pearson, president of Nepsis, expressed confidence that Butler’s appointment will enhance the firm’s ability to support advisors and clients while improving operational efficiency for team members. This move aligns with a broader industry trend, as other wealthtech firms like UK-based Calatsone have also recently appointed new CTOs to bolster their technological capabilities.
