New Digital River/Salesforce B2B App To Boost Merchant Protections Worldwide

International e-commerce firm Digital River is poised to offer a significant boost to merchants around the world.

The company has announced the launch of an application in cooperation with Salesforce Commerce Cloud, and, by all appearances, the new app represents a synthesis of Digital River’s powerful payment architecture and Salesforce’s worldwide commerce network. Designed in collaboration with Salesforce partner Docmation, the new app is set to improve Digital River’s already considerable digital protections for B2B retailers around the world.

This collaboration represents a critical partnership for Digital River at a moment when the company is already enjoying incredible momentum. According to a recent press release, the second quarter of 2021 saw Digital River top its number of clients in the previous year by two-thirds.

Small wonder then that Digital River is busy pursuing several partnerships with other fintech entities; in addition to its team-up with Salesforce, Digital River partnered with B2B and SaaS firm Changify earlier this year, and has also been working with cloud tax compliance company Avalara. Considering its recent pivot into buy now pay later (BNPL) and other novel checkout solutions, Digital River is set to bring its commercial digital protection to the next level.
