PayPal Appoints Aaron J. Webster as Chief Enterprise Services Officer

PayPal Holdings, Inc. announced the appointment of Aaron J. Webster as its new Executive Vice President and Chief Enterprise Services Officer, which was effective March 18, 2024. In his new role, Webster will oversee global financial crime and fraud prevention programs, regulatory and government relations, as well as risk and compliance management, showcasing his extensive experience in risk management and operations for globally renowned companies.

Webster joins PayPal from SoFi, where he served as the chief risk officer and global head of operations, overseeing the launch and expansion of SoFi Bank, NA, and spearheading efforts to scale operations worldwide while establishing a footprint in Latin America to foster financial inclusion. With prior executive leadership roles at Citi, Toyota, and GE Capital, he brings a wealth of experience in financial services and risk management. His appointment reflects PayPal's commitment to excellence in risk and compliance, as highlighted by President and CEO Alex Chriss, who expressed confidence in Webster's ability to enhance customer relationships and contribute to the company's growth trajectory.
