Sabre and Revolut Transform B2B Payments in Travel Industry with Successful Partnership

Sabre, a global travel industry technology provider, and fintech challenger bank Revolut have reported successful outcomes from their collaboration to enhance the B2B payments process for travel agencies. In less than a year, the partnership has on boarded over 40 customers, transforming the financial landscape for travel agencies. Revolut's virtual cards are now seamlessly integrated into the Sabre Virtual Payments platform, enabling travel agencies to pay airlines, hotels, and other suppliers with increased flexibility and security. This integration has streamlined practices, improved agility, and accelerated time-to-market for travel agencies, with the onboarding process reduced from months to just days.

Celia Pereiro, Managing Director of Payments at Sabre, expressed pride in the collaboration, emphasizing its strategic focus on delivering virtual payment solutions valued by travel agencies. The partnership not only facilitates swift and efficient transactions but also provides access to a comprehensive suite of commercial card products, enhancing payment acceptance rates and offering preferential currency conversion rates. Revolut's Global Head of Embedded Finance Sales, Will Hannan, highlighted the joint efforts to drive digitalization in the travel sector, streamlining transactions through virtual cards, real-time foreign exchange, and API-based payment products, with plans to deliver even more value to customers in the future.
