Seccl Appoints Prerna Goel as COO to Drive Operational Excellence

Seccl, the embedded investment platform owned by Octopus, has named Prerna Goel as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO). Goel, a seasoned leader with nearly two decades of experience in the fintech and banking sectors, will oversee Seccl’s operations, finance, legal, and cross-functional delivery teams. Known for her impactful contributions to the financial services landscape, Goel has held key roles at institutions including ClearBank, Metro Bank, and Capital One. Notably, as a founding member of ClearBank, she was instrumental in developing its cutting-edge embedded finance product. Her appointment aligns with Seccl’s vision of balancing rapid growth with operational excellence while setting new industry benchmarks. 

Goel’s commitment to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) initiatives further distinguishes her as a leader. She co-owns Vriksh Impact Partners, a firm dedicated to driving ESG change, and actively advocates for disability inclusion in fintech through Project Nemo.
