Shopify and Melio Collaborate on First-Ever Shopify Accounts Payable Solution

Canadian e-commerce platform Shopify has been at the forefront of the digital retail revolution, helping merchants all over the world bring their wares to new clients through its online storefronts and retail point-of-sale services. And thanks to a recent partnership with B2B payments company Melio, Shopify merchants will now be able to manage even more of their business online with a new tool known as Shopify Bill Pay.

The first-ever accounts payable service available to Shopify merchants, Shopify Bill Pay empowers vendors to fully customize their outgoing payments. Thanks to Melio’s network that extends to 100 countries around the world, Shopify merchants will now be able to manage their payments, shipping, advertising, and sales with unmatched convenience and security.

“We are excited to announce this unique partnership with Shopify that will simplify merchants’ bill-paying experience – providing them with more flexibility to help with their cash flow and saving them countless hours spent tracking invoices,” said Melio’s Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder, Matan Bar, in a press release on the launch. “Shopify Bill Pay will bring a whole new experience to merchants who are overwhelmed by managing their cash flow and inventories, preparing their stock for busy seasons and keeping track of each vendor’s payment requirements.”
