1. Tony Kerrison

Title: Chief Technology Officer

Tony Kerrison is the Chief Technology Officer for Bank of America. Based in New York, Kerrison oversees the Global Technology Infrastructure for Bank of America, which is one of the world’s leading financial institutions, offering a robust portfolio of banking, investing, asset management, and other financial and risk management products and services. In the U.S., the bank serves approximately 68 million consumer and small business clients with approximately 3,900 retail financial centers and approximately 15,000 ATMs. Bank of America has approximately 56 million verified digital users.

Previously, Kerrisony was Head of Infrastructure Services at Barclays Bank. He was also previously the Chairman of the Enterprise Cloud Leadership Council. Kerrison’s experience includes early adopter technology innovation and organizational change in the U.S., Europe, and Asia. Prior to joining Barclays, he held C-level leadership positions as: CTO Wholesale Bank, Bank of America Merrill Lynch; CTO for ING; Global CTO, CIO Asia Pacific, and CEO of Merrill Lynch India Technology Services at Merrill Lynch; CTO at Credit Suisse First Boston; and CTO Enterprise Services at Deutsche Bank.

 

2. Scott Roberts
Company: Coinbase Cloud
Title: Chief Information Security Officer

Scott Roberts is the Chief Information Security Officer for Coinbase Cloud, the gateway to Web3 for both developers and users at Coinbase. Roberts joined Cloud in March of 2022 to lead the security, risk, compliance and privacy practices. Coinbase Cloud infrastructure offers staking for individual investors, enterprises and institutions. Staking enables users to earn rewards for providing security and services to Proof of Stake networks.

Previously Roberts held the role of Director of Android and Pixel Security Assurance at Google, where he was responsible for securing one of the largest and most widely used open source projects in the world, with over three billion users. Prior to joining Google, Roberts held product leadership roles at Amazon Web Services and Microsoft, including leadership roles in the Microsoft Security Response Center (MSRC); and within the Microsoft Security Development Lifecycle (SDL) program.

 

3. Pravjit Tiwana
Company: Gemini
Title: CEO and Global Chief Technology Officer

Pravjit Tiwana is the CEO and Global Chief Technology Officer at Gemini Asia Pacific (APAC). Gemini is a global cryptocurrency exchange and web3 company founded by Tyler and Cameron Winklevoss. In late 2021, Gemini raised $400 million in a funding round led by hedge fund Morgan Creek Digital, which valued the startup at $7.1 billion. Today the company operates in 70 countries. In his current role, Tiwana leads the engineering, product, and data teams at Gemini including delivering the products to market, and is responsible for managing business unit PnLs.

Prior to joining Gemini, Tiwana was a senior executive at Amazon Web Services (AWS), where he was the General Manager of Edge Services, which includes Amazon CloudFront, AWS Edge Computing, and AWS Data Transfer Operations. Prior to his 6.5-year tenure at AWS, Tiwana held product and engineering leadership roles both at Microsoft and Disney. At Microsoft, he was involved in building products such as Window Live and Office 365 Exchange. Tiwana is a marathon runner, peloton addict, and an avid golfer. He holds an engineering and MBA degree from India.

 

4. Tanuj Vohra
Company: HighRadius
Title: Chief Technology Officer

Tanuj Vohra is the Chief Technology Officer at HighRadius, where he oversees Integrated Receivables Products, including Engineering, Product Management, and Data Science. HighRadius offers cloud-based Autonomous Software for CFO professionals. Over 800 leading companies have transformed their order to cash, treasury, and record-to-report processes with HighRadius.

Vohra has more than 25 years of experience building high-performance teams and delivering innovative solutions at Broadcom, CA Technologies, Microsoft, and IBM. Previously, he led the Business Management segment in Broadcom's Enterprise Software Division. He was also SVP and Head of the India Technology Center at CA Technologies. Before that, he held leadership roles at Microsoft and IBM. Vohra holds an MA from Michigan Technological University and an undergraduate degree in computer science from Punjab Engineering College.

 

5. Erika Dean
Company: Robinhood
Title: Chief Information Security Officer

Erika Dean is the Chief Information Security Officer at Robinhood, bringing over 20 years of experience in the IT and cybersecurity industries. Robinhood was founded on the principle of making financial markets accessible to all, aiming to overcome long standing barriers in the industry. The company strives to level the playing field by offering intuitive and affordable trading options, promoting inclusivity, and empowering individuals–regardless of their wealth or industry knowledge. In October 2000, Dean began her professional journey at Capital One, serving as a VP and Divisional Chief Information Security Officer. During her tenure there, she played a crucial role in establishing the cyber vision, priorities, and strategy for multiple businesses within Capital One. In May 2021, she transitioned to Robinhood as the Chief Information Security Officer. In this position, she is responsible for spearheading the company's cybersecurity efforts and safeguarding customer data.

 

6. Yaron Lavi
Company: Deel
Title: Chief Technology Officer

Yaron Lavi is the Chief Technology Officer of Deel, a role he assumed in 2020. Deel is an all-in-one HR platform catering to global teams. Operating compliantly in over 150 countries, the company simplifies the management of international workforces, from onboarding to payroll and compliance. With his extensive expertise and experience in technology, Lavi plays a pivotal role in driving technological advancements and innovation as the CTO.

Previously, Lavi held the position of VP of R&D at Zira. He also served as an R&D Director of Full Stack and DevOps at Jethro. In addition, he gained valuable experience as Head of R&D for the ACC Division at Amdocs; and as an R&D Team Leader for GUI at SigValue. 7. Gurbhej Dhillon
Company: Flutterwave
Title: Chief Technology Officer

Since June 2022, Gurbhej Dhillon has been the Chief Technology Officer of Flutterwave. As CTO, he is responsible for further development of Flutterwave's innovative technology platform, which currently partners with major players like VISA, Mastercard, Discover Card Networks, Uber, Booking.com, and Flywire, among others. Flutterwave is a payments infrastructure company connecting Africa to the global economy. Founded in 2016 by African finance and technology veterans, Flutterwave has become one of the fastest growing payments companies globally. It enables businesses and banks to provide seamless and secure payment experiences.

Earlier Dhillon worked at Goldman Sachs, where he was the CTO and Head of Lending Engineering. Prior to that, he served as CTO for Goldman Sachs' Investment Banking Capital Markets team. Dhillon is a great supporter of the Developer Community in Africa and admires the work they have done in recent times, building creative solutions at a world-class standard. He graduated from Stony Brook University with an undergraduate degree in computer science.

8. Nicholas Prountzos
Company: Viva Wallet
Title: Chief Information Security Officer

Nicholas Prountzos is currently the Chief Information Security Officer at Viva Wallet, where he oversees all aspects of security for the company. Viva Wallet is the first European entirely cloud-based Neobank, using Microsoft Azure with a presence in 24 countries in Europe. Viva Wallet provides businesses –of all sizes– card acceptance services through the innovative Viva Terminal App, add-on Google Play devices, and through advanced payment gateways in online stores. It also offers business accounts with local IBAN and a business Viva Wallet Mastercard card.

Prountzos has over a decade of experience in information security management, consulting, personnel coordination, project management, and policy development. Before joining Viva Wallet, he was the Information Security Systems Lead Engineer at Mellon Technologies and the Information Security Systems Engineer at Mellon Technologies. Prountzos is also a trainer in cryptography, information security products, and best practices. He holds a Master of Science in information networking from Carnegie Mellon University, a Master of Science in digital communication systems from Loughborough University, and a Bachelor of Engineering in electronics and communications from Nottingham Trent University.

 

9. Rob Carpenter
Company: Achieve Lending
Title: Chief Technology Officer

Rob Carpenter, the Chief Technology Officer of Achieve Lending, began his career 37 years ago. His company, Achieve, is a leader in digital personal finance. The fintech provider offers innovative digital financial solutions, including home equity loans, personal loans, debt resolution, and financial education. From the single parent trying to catch up on bills, to the entrepreneur trying to make their dreams a reality, Achieve provides innovative, personalized financial solutions to move customers towards a better financial future.

Carpenter started as a program manager at McDonnell Douglas/Boeing in 1986. Later he moved on to Sun Microsystems/Javasoft. Before joining Achieve, he was the Principal of Technology at CoreLogic. Carpenter holds a doctorate in systems architecture and a Master of Science in engineering management from the University of Southern California. He also holds an undergraduate degree in physics and economics from the University of California, Los Angeles.

 

10. Murali Vajjiravel
Company: Octane
Title: Chief Technology Officer

Murali Vajjiravel is the Chief Technology Officer at Octane®, a fintech company revolutionizing the buying experience for major recreational purchases. In this role, Vajjiravel leads the technology and engineering teams. Among his many duties at Octane, he oversees product development, technology strategy, data and platform security, engineering systems, and operations.

Vajjiravel is an Amazon and Microsoft alum. He also has vast start-up experience. Prior to joining Octane in June 2021, Vajjiravel was the Head of Engineering at GEP Worldwide, where he managed a 1200-person engineering organization. Before that, Vajjiravel served as the Head of Engineering for Alexa Smart Home Dash Replenishment Service; and he served as Head of Engineering for AWS Marketing Engineering organizations. At Microsoft, Vajjiravel spearheaded engineering for: Windows Server Service Packs, Windows Essential Business Server Operating System SKU, and big data engineering for Microsoft’s MSN properties. On top of that, he was a founding member of Microsoft’s AdCenter platform for Bing Advertising. In terms of education, Vajjiravel earned his bachelor’s in mathematics, electronics, and physics from Christ University in Bangalore, India. Remarkably, he holds 13 patents across a spectrum of software domains–including data warehousing, search engines, software licensing, and distributed server orchestration.

 

11. Libor Kovar
Company: Home Credit Group
Title: Group Chief Information Security Officer

Libor Kovar is the Group Chief Information Security Officer of Home Credit Group. He manages IT security and audits. In addition to his role, since 2018, he has led the Group's Network and Security Operations Centre. Founded in 1997, Home Credit is an international consumer finance provider with operations in eight countries. They focus on responsible lending primarily to people with little or no credit history. During his tenure with the company, Kovar has been involved in several significant projects, including the implementation of Identity and Access Management (IDM) for the entire group (250,000 internal users), decommissioning of IT, and dividing the company during business spinoffs in Russia and the U.S., implementing the new agile approach of DEV/SEC/OPS teams, delivery of Software Defined Network infrastructure for group users, and implementing full cloud solutions (O365, Azure) for the Home Credit Group.

Previously, Kovar was the Chief Security Officer at ČEZ ICT Services. He also holds certifications such as Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), Cybersecurity Fundamentals Certificate, and Certified in Cybersecurity (CC). Notably, he has published articles on topics related to IT security–and has worked on various projects, including implementing new agile approaches and identity management solutions. 12. Balaji Jayavelu

Balaji Jayavelu is the Chief Technology Officer of MILVIK BIMA. He joined the company as one of the founding employees in 2010 and has held positions of increasing responsibility, including: Head of Engineering, VP of Engineering, and SVP of Technology. Since 2022 he’s served as the Chief Technology Officer. In 2019, he joined the company as an Information Security Officer. Raisin, which was founded in 2012, is a Berlin-based trailblazer in the savings and investment space. Previously, Quaine was a Chief Privacy Officer at Ally. She also served as an IT audit director at General Motors. Earlier in her career, she worked with Daimler Chrysler as a project manager. Quaine earned a Master of Science in business information technology from Walsh College and an undergraduate degree in information management systems from Wayne State University.

 

17. Carlos Cruz

Previously, Banna served as the Executive, Corporate Information Security at CoreLogic. He also served as a Director of Information Security at Hyundai Capital America. Banna holds a bachelor's in mathematics and computer science from California State University, Long Beach. He also received a master's in computer science from the same institution. He is certified by ISC2 as an Information Systems Security Management Professional (ISSMP) and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP). He is also certified by the University of Southern California - Marshall School of Business in the USC Executive Leadership Development Program.

 

19. Danielle Egr

Danielle Egr is the Chief Technology Officer of Nelnet. In this role, Egr oversees the development of the company’s suite of products in the K-12 and higher education markets. In 2014, Egr joined Nelnet as IT Director of Application Development. Headquartered in Lincoln, NE, Nelnet is a publicly-traded diversified financial services and technology company committed to enriching lives through the power of service. She began her career 26 years ago as a relationship manager at Corporate Banking for Wells Fargo Bank. Egr earned her undergraduate degree in business administration from Hastings College and an undergraduate degree in software programming from Bellevue University.

 

20. John Heaton-Armstrong

Title: Group Chief Information Security Officer

John Heaton-Armstrong is the Group Chief Information Security Officer of Thredd, formerly Global Processing Services. Thredd processes billions of transactions annually across 44 countries for leading fintechs, digital banks, and embedded finance providers. He previously worked as a paralegal at Russell Jones and Walker Solicitors. Heaton-Armstrong holds an MA in modern history from the University of Oxford.

 

21. Michael Nolte

Title: Chief Information Security Officer

Michael Nolte is the Chief Information Security Officer of AEVI, a leading global IT & Security team. AEVI offers secure payment solutions and a marketplace for added apps and services–bringing merchant banks, acquirers, and consumers closer together. 22. Margaret Corrigan

Margaret Corrigan is the Chief Information Security Officer at TransferMate, an organization that enables companies to conduct cross-border payments faster and more efficiently. TransferMate holds an extensive range of payment licenses, allowing them to trade in 162 countries and 134 currencies. Corrigan has 36 years of experience. She began her career in 1987 as a systems test manager and project manager at Beneficial Bank. She later held positions at Capgemini, eventually becoming an IT director and program director at Capita. She received an MBA in executive leadership from the University of Wales, Cardiff.

 

23. Michaele James

Title: Chief Information Technology Officer

Michaele James is the Chief Technology Officer at Renew Financial, a company that specializes in affordable financing for renewable energy and energy efficiency projects. Before joining BillGO, Gruber held the position of head of data management and analytics at ACI Worldwide. Prior to that, she served as a director of engineering services at Online Resources. Earlier in her career, she also worked as an application developer and programmer at Volvo IT. Gruber holds a master's in information technology from DeSales University and undergraduate degrees in computer science from Cedar Crest College and Penn State University.

 

25. Peter Wallis

Bringing 28 years of experience to the table, Peter Wallis serves as the Vice President of Technology at LendInvest, a technology-driven asset manager for property finance. LendInvest offers an asset management platform focused on property finance, providing bridging loans, development finance, and buy-to-let mortgages for intermediaries, landlords, and developers in the U.K. They originate and manage portfolios of property loans for investors, offering three types of secured property lending: bridging loans, development loans, and professional buy-to-let (BTL) loans.

Wallis started his career in 1995 at Accenture, later moving to Capgemini. He eventually became the CTO at Sporting Group before joining LendInvest. He holds a master’s in engineering science from the University of Oxford.
